Microneedling RF

Two modalities into one for quicker results! This procedure uses fine medical-grade needles to deliver RF heat energy to skin tissue after the needles have penetrated the surface of the skin. This causes controlled micro-injuries to the skin, which triggers the body’s natural wound healing response. As your skin heals, collagen production soars and existing collagen fibers tighten at the same time. The result is smoother, tighter and firmer skin.

How does microneedling with RF work?

Microneedles penetrate inside numbed skin and deliver RF (radio frequency) energy deep into the dermis. The penetration creates microchannels to allow focused deep penetration of RF to stimulate collagen and elastin production and remodel all layers of the skin. Radio frequency can deliver the energy where it's needed the most, in the lower dermis, while minimizing the damage to the skin's surface.

How many treatments will I need?

Treatment will vary from individual to individual according to severity and goals. A course of 3-6 treatments delivered 1 month apart may be required to achieve the full result.

Will I notice results immediately?

Patients may witness some tightening and firming, but final results will take place over approximately 3 months as collagen is renewed and strengthened. As this collagen building process continues.

Are the results permanent?

Regardless of the service you choose, to continue to maintain good skin-quality, it is required to engage in a continuing skin regimen. Results should last at least 12-24 months. A good at-home and in-office regimen will prolong the longevity of the results and also slow down aging processes in general. Single maintenance treatments may be required at 12 month intervals to preserve the initial result.

Does the treatment hurt?

Most patients do not report pain but slight discomfort. There can be slight "zing" over bony areas or a warm sensation in the skin during treatment. Patients are numbed for a more comfortable experience.

How long does it take and is there downtime?

The procedure takes about 30-60 minutes and has no downtime for most patients.

Who is a good candidate?

Microneedling RF is a suitable procedure for all skin types. Great for maintenance and advanced aging cases. If your condition is severe, several rounds of treatment may be required.
